“Landscape photography is the supreme test of the photographer - and often the supreme disappointment.” - Ansel Adams

A 65 year old underground zone substation owned by CitiPower, takes supply from the Richmond Terminal Station to ultimately supply individual distribution substations located in nearby city blocks.

Substation 'J' was originally built to distribute electricity from the adjacent Spencer Street Power Station, and the control room has been left largely untouched. Both substations continue to provide power to Melbourne's CBD today.
